The touch screen is increasingly becoming a standard requirement in electronic products .More importantly how do I choose the right touch screen for an application What are the basic considerations when choosing a touch screen.
There are many types of touch screen technology: Resistive, Capacitive, Projected Capacitive, (Pro-Cap) Acoustic (SAW), and Infra Red (IR). Selection of appropriate technology for applications requiring a comprehensive evaluation, Subjective.Resistive technology can be used in the widest range of applications, and has the lowest cost, and continues to evolve to meet the needs of the touch screen market.Resistive touch screen to input from almost any object (multiple input). For example, gloved or bare finger, stylus, or credit card edge baguian.Recent advances in resistive touch screen technology, multi-input capabilities is now available so that designers can implement the various movements such as swipe interface, rotate, and zoom the standard features in Windows 7 touch surface.
There are several types of resistive touch screen based on the construction: Film + Glass (FG), Glass + Glass (GG), Film + Film + Plastic (FFP), Film + Film + Glass (FFG), and glass + Film-Glass (GFG) . The first letter refers to the material of the top layer of the touch screen. The top layer is the part that will be touched and felt by the user. The last letter in the abbreviation indicates the last layer of the touch screen.

Touch screen is the most used technology nowadays for electronic products such as smartphone, tablet, laptop and many more. The blog will educate us if what should be to consider to choose a touchscreen technology. There are 5 touchscreen technologies written here, the resistive, capacitive, projected capacitive (Pro-Cap), Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) and Infra-Red (IR) but many of these are not explained by the author and instead of Surface Acoustic Wave, they only put Acoustic (SAW) in the blog. Anyway, I am here to thank you for sharing your ideas about this. Although I have a little idea about touchscreen technology but my knowledge is not enough that’s why I have been searching for new ideas. Here I found a new information, the several types of resistive touchscreen based on the construction, Film + Glass (FG), Glass + Glass (GG), Film + Film + Plastic (FFP), Film + Film + Glass (FFG), and glass + Film-Glass (GFG). Thanks for giving me this information.
